A perfect punch for your next Halloween party

Miro and I both love Halloween, so we have thrown our fair share of Halloween parties together We would each make a signature drink and she would usually make an apple cider punch which was perfect for fall. She would add shrunken apple heads to the punch to make it spooky, which were a big hit.
I wanted to experiment a little, so I modified her original recipe by using spiced cider instead of traditional cider and adding cinnamon, nutmeg, fresh rosemary and rum. Whether you follow this recipe or make it your own, you will be a hit at your next Halloween or fall get together. Let’s get cooking!
Spiced Apple Cider Punch
· 64 oz spiced apple cider (I used Trader Joe’s spiced cider)
· ½ teaspoon cinnamon
· Pinch of fresh nutmeg
· Multiple springs of rosemary
· 1 cup Rum
Combine apple cider, cinnamon and rosemary into a pot over medium heat. Grate a little fresh nutmeg on top. Stir together. Cover half of the pot with a lid and let cook for 60 minutes. Turn off the burner and let it sit for another 15 minutes. Add your rum when you are ready to serve and enjoy!
